Bush nominates Wolfowitz for World Bank President

March 16th, 2005

In the latest example of how we are, in fact, living in bizarro world when it comes to national politics, Bush has recently nominated world renowned neo-incompetent Paul Wolfowitz for President of the World Bank. Just to recap, Wolfy is the chief architect of the fabulously successful Iraq war plan.

This is sure to kick off some serious cat fighting on the bank’s board. Should be fun. Even more fun will be Bush’s pick for new Fed chairman when Alan Greenspan retires early next year. My bet: Brother Neil. He does have significant experience in the financial services industry. Of course, that mainly involved fraud, but hey, it’s better than nothing. Just remember, you heard it here first.
